Feathers

Two photos, taken on the same gorgeous evening stroll through the Alpilles.
I hope that they tickle your fancy as much as they did mine…

Speaking of feathers, in the “Light as a…” kind, because can you ever see this too many times?
I didn’t think so.
More soon. But wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead…

PS. Just wondering, is there interest in a separate blog for photo updates of Ben and Kipling?

  1. Fred and Ginger, light as feathers on their feet. What a duo. And speaking of duo, yep if a separate blog will give us more viewing time of Ben and Kipling, I'm all for it. BTW the brown feather looks like a brown trout at the bottom of a river bed. The first picture of one of the dogs with the white feather…great camera angle.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Fred Astair..Ginger Rogers..Ben and Kipling..never enuf!..We watch because we love them..heavenly dancing and heavenly doggies….combined with, yes, heavenly photographs….stay happy and continue to share whatever your heart desires.

  3. Hi Heather, I love your blog as it is with Ben & Kipling being featured as a natural part of your life story, as they are! Your blog is a mix of poetry in words and images, your musings, and your happiness with your puppers! That's who and what you are. That's what your blog is. I don't think you need to categorise parts of it separately. I enjoy the mix! Love the top photo. Made me smile!

BTW, I know you all in France & the US are looking froward to spring, but oh my goodness, can't wait for a little cooler weather here soon. We've had a heatwave going on and on. Some cool nights so we can sleep, would be welcome! We all want what's around the corner, rather than what's ours now! Cheers, Deborah in Melbourne, Australia.

  4. ALways happy to see the puppers.I don't think you need another blog for them……….but if you want I'll subscribe!

  5. I saw a programme with that feather dress in it- Fred hated it but I can't recall why! It moved beautifully though! Lovely photos and I also add my vote to keeping dog news integrated 🙂

  6. As a fairly new blogger compared to most of the ones I read, I follow their blog because I like it. Maybe one day they write about their thoughts, and the next pictures of what they've seen that day, which is why I always enjoy your posts, please don't stray away with another blog, keep the stories & updates of your dogs antics as part of your blog. I feel they belong there, as they are part of your life.

  7. How lovely… Just what's required to "sweep away" a long week's cobwebs.

(Happy to see Ben & Kipling in any forum, they're so scrumptious. If they get their own blog, will you get them an FB page and better yet, a Twitter?)

  8. The first phot captures my heart How perfect. And Fred and Ginger and Cole? Well, we'll never, ever tire of them, will we?

  9. Your blog is unique in photographs in the landscape and the dogs place in it as well. There are already many dog blogs.Don't go changin'
