Feathers

Two photos, taken on the same gorgeous evening stroll through the Alpilles.
I hope that they tickle your fancy as much as they did mine…

Speaking of feathers, in the “Light as a…” kind, because can you ever see this too many times?
I didn’t think so.
More soon. But wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead…

PS. Just wondering, is there interest in a separate blog for photo updates of Ben and Kipling?

  1. YES! to a dog-blog. especially along the lines of the "care and feeding" post that you did a while ago – with pix – that was ADORABLE.

    love the feathers.

and watching fred n ginger made us daydream for an afternoon under the covers with a b&w movie or three and endless cups of tea (and maybe chocolate if one is Very Careful not to get it on the smooth sheets – always difficult). *sighs*

    *wavingtoFrance*!

  2. Merci beaucoup for the wonderful gifts. First the kind words you left on my blog, and now… "Night and Day" PLUS Rogers & Astaire? Doesn't GET much better than that. I love that song, and I love the old movie musicals. So thank you. Now my heart is singing…

    Bon weekend.

  3. Of course, you knew that would make me cry. Happy, happy tears. And no, dear Marsha, we sure don't.

  4. Heather, you're just going to love this story. One of my girlfriends, a complete animal nut, works in retail. A couple of weeks ago a customer came in, told Jeanne she was moving to Indonesia, had 2 dogs, a big one and a little one. She can take the little one easily, but because the black Lab has seizures at age 10, he couldn't stand the travel time. Undaunted, Jeanne told her she would love to see the dog, the lady should bring him over for a visit with their 3 cats (yuk) and their female black Lab & a Pekingese.
The male dog did wonderfully with all the other animals, and Jeanne's husband fell in love with him. Bottom line…the dog moved in forever yesterday. We just never know where angels are going to be, do we?
