Falling in love again–Crillon le Brave, part two

I won’t lie to you.

I threw out ninety percent of the photos that I had carefully prepared for this post and replaced them with those that I took yesterday evening.

“Yesterday evening?”
“Yes, yesterday evening.”
“You were in Crillon le Brave again yesterday evening?”
“I was.”
“Did you like it as much as the first time?”
(enter Mona Lisa smile here)

I don’t know what the future holds as far as this village and myself are concerned but I..
But I…

Have a wonderful week ahead, more soon and please leave the door open, thank you.

  1. Michel! Of course! I should have remembered that this is not far away from you at all…And do go, by all means, it is so lovely. There are quite a few restaurant options for such a small village–I will be posting about that next (although I haven't tried anything beyond a refreshing Perrier Menthe at the café :).
Wishing you a great day as well.

  2. Wait. What about the homeless guy who strums the same three notes over and over on his out of tune guitar and then loudly pees all over the front of our building once he gets drunk? Will he be there? Because I am not going ANYWHERE without him.

PS. You went there twice??? Swank.

  3. I have been switching back and forth between your last post and this one, and, with each switch, I am entranced by the difference in the light from afternoon to evening. Both so beautiful. I am definitely leaving the gate open. I am waiting for the light of sunrise or the light of the night sky, which surely must be the deepest of dark blue, sparkled with shimmering twinkles of starlight.

  4. Nature offers the best…this light is amazing as your pics are and it was worth to go back again. MLsmile….

  5. So hang on – are you going to add to the soon to be real estate boom there as I suspected?? Not that I have been but being a totally wanna be mystic meg – i have a good feeling about this place. Seems a nice vibe. Keep us updated xx

  6. Heather, beautiful pictures. Hate to admit it, but we have driven through Crillon le Brave several times to and from Bedoin but we have never stopped to visit the village. Seeing your pictures makes me realize we have missed out. We will try to correct this oversight during the next two weeks. Have a great day.
