I won’t lie to you.
I threw out ninety percent of the photos that I had carefully prepared for this post and replaced them with those that I took yesterday evening.
“Yesterday evening?”
“Yes, yesterday evening.”
“You were in Crillon le Brave again yesterday evening?”
“I was.”
“Did you like it as much as the first time?”
(enter Mona Lisa smile here)
I don’t know what the future holds as far as this village and myself are concerned but I..
But I…
Have a wonderful week ahead, more soon and please leave the door open, thank you.

Heather I am so mesmerized. Your photographs really take me there, I can feel it all, the stone, the doors, the textures, the light…

oh! heather! that LIGHT!
one must feel terribly poetic in such a luminary place.
Oh BOY!You are killing me here!My door is always open for you!
Do tell us more!
Surprisingly enough, I've been to Crillon le Brave twice (the name always makes me think of some aging, troubador-era warrior, as played by Mel Gibson or Gerard Depardieu). It's lovely, of course. Are you and Mister Britches thinking of moving there? I hope you bear in mind that you won't have garbage trucks, squabbling neighbors, traffic, or feral cat-fights to wake you up every fifteen minutes. If you're not careful, you could end up sleeping eight hours in a row each night…..
Advisedly yours as ever, David Terry http://www.davidterryart.com
The door is wide open, dear Heather! Surmountingly yours, Leslie in Oregon
Achingly beautiful. And I'm beginning to think that this is much more than a transitory crush.
Love the Mona Lisa smile. C'est magnifique!
Beautiful photos. The first one looks like an oil painting.
How could you not fall in love with a place like that. Wonderful photos.
I hope that you and this delightful village will have many more adventures together in the near future. It is such a beautiful place that i am falling in love with it myself too.
