44…

Not today, tomorrow but as this has been declared Birthday Weekend we are already officially celebrating…

Time to throw open the curtains and let in the light…

Woot woot!

I hope that you all find something to celebrate this weekend too… 🙂

PS. To revisit last year’s fête, click here–yes, these are the photos that almost got published in Ad…but didn’t! Looks like I have things to work on in the year ahead…

  1. I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Heather… and a fabulous weekend…
    I am sure you did… 🙂
I wish you 44 more and plus… xv

  2. Happy birthday, chère Heather! Wishing you a marvelous day filled with cake and love from humans and pups alike! I'm sending you a big hug!

  4. Well, Heather…if you were closer I'd buy (I don't bake) you a cake and bring it over.

In its stead?…..here's a song for you. Go to this (and skip to minute 2 or so…David's always loopily chattered on way too long before he gets around to actually singing…and I'm referring to him, not me, for once):

    It's a fine song for an adult's birthday, Heather…..:

    "Life is change,
    And change looks frightening
    'Watch that wind',
    I've been warned.
    But I live
    to feel this lightning
    Here in this perfect storm".

Best wishes to you (and a big hey to nice Remi) on this, your birthday….

  5. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays! Hope you were feted and felt loved.
I loved the image with your portrait in the antique mirror. It has an other worldly feel!

  6. Oh, my sweet! 44 is SUCH a magic number!! My sister takes 4:44 as a confirmation from God that she is on the right track when an email comes in at that time or something similar. I speak beauty–I swear that's the first word that came to my mind!–tranquility and strength over you in the coming year. Like muscles shot through with the divine impetus to apply toward the work for which you have always been intended! Light-filled, almost searing to the eye but with deep, enduring, goodness and uncompromised dunamis.

    44!

  7. Hope your birthday is every bit as lovely as the one you had last year. And how wonderful that those gorgeous photos almost made it into AD. As I once said in my birth country "Loloma levu" (much love) or as we say here Aroha nui (much love) and many blessings for your birthday and the coming year. Gallivanta
