Remi and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Julie Mautner, who has chosen to feature Remi on her blog, The Provence Post. So yes, we can all agree that she has excellent taste! To top it off, Julie is also now organizing trips to (and within) Provence for groups and indviduals! What an opportunity to soak up her expertise for all it’s worth…

And Julie even has a scoop! She breaks the news that I don’t believe that most of you know…Remi is shooting an assignment for the National Geographic Society! It has been the dream of his entire career and after over twenty years of working around the world for many of the top magazines, it is finally happening. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, Julie also mentions a project that Remi has been developing for some time. He has created a new technique for shooting homes, hotels and other real estate. Oh Elizabeth, I do understand! There are times when I read Dominique Browning's blog and think "well, Heather, just hang up your hat right now" but I am really trying hard to get away from perfectionist thinking. No one would ever do anything at all if they felt that it had to perfectly done. And what beauty lies in imperfection too. So please do keep writing and taking photos–not to please anyone else but yourself! Bisous à toi aussi…
Remi’s work is superb……..absolutely. I have visited his website on a number of occasions…..inspiring and deflating!
You both have the talents I yearn for! On a number of occasions I have felt defeated by my lack of talent to write and photograph and have withdrawn from these activities…..an impatient, perfectionist.
